Just a note to say that we are very pleased with the Thera-Fit and Elise is enjoying using it both with her feet and with her hands.

Jenny feels, as I do, that the exercise is very good for her in both modes, but the arm workout is an extra which we had been unable to simulate in any other effective way. This is an excellent product.

Thera Trainer
I first met the Medicotech team, at the Mobility Show at Kemble Bristol in June 09, where they had a display. I was aware of this type of equipment, having spent 10 months as an in patient at National Spiral Injuries Unit, Stoke Mandeville, following an accident in June 2007.

Having never seen anything similar, other than there. I was more curious. Knowing the positive effect they have on spasms and muscle tone I tried the Thera Trainer, and made an appointment for Medicotech to visit at home. Within a couple of weeks I had tried one, and was sold, I decided for my own general well being I needed to have one.

I was advised which Trainer would be best suited to my needs, and about two weeks later I had it in my home. All set up and shown how to use it by Medicotech team.

I have now had the Thera Live Trainer for 5 weeks and have found it invaluable. It has regulated my muscle tone, keeping my body fit and agile, and has lessened my degree of neuropathic pain.

Mediocotech have been excellent, and extremely professional, and always available at the end of the phone for any help or advice I needed. I now use the TheraTrainer every day, and am so grateful to Medicotech for all their help and assistance. I would recommend anyone to use their service.

I have purchased this equipment solely for my own use in order to reduce and minimise the need for and cost of visits to my private physiotherapist and to hold the deterioration in my stamina and muscle function and degeneration, and improve my circulation.

My condition of Post Polio Syndrome is a degenerative condition which can ultimately result in total loss of function of the entire muscular-skeletal system and confinement to a wheelchair. I have been following a regular programme of exercise and diet as recommended by my G.P. and private physiotherapist, and have been advised that this is the best way to slow the deterioration. Even after just a few weeks, the inclusion of the TheraTrainer has proved itself by adding to the benefits I receive from my physiotherapy exercise programme.

The TheraTrainer was supplied, delivered and fully installed by the Medicotech team, who provided full training in its proper and safe use, My use of this equipment has been approved by my physiotherapist.

Here was a beautifully sleek and simple piece of equipment that I could use entirely on my own.
I first came across Medicotech at the Kemble Mobility Roadshow where I spotted a piece of equipment I instantly knew I had to have: the Thera Trainer. Following a spinal injury, rehab and physiotherapy have been part of my life for 20 years. Here was a beautifully sleek and simple piece of equipment that I could use entirely on my own, exercising passively if I felt tired or actively if I wanted a good work-out. Moreover it had calf supports to steady the knees and flexible, rocking footplates that gently worked the feet as you pedalled. Minimal fuss in the monitor display unit - I don't need to see landscapes passing me by, I prefer to listen to music, watch television or learn a language as I pedal away.

The service from this company is first-rate. They respond quickly and sympathetically if you have a problem, and go out of their way to give you a demonstration at home, whereby assess your needs fairly. Spare parts, if needed, are readily available and delivered from Germany swiftly. As it's a small company there's the personal touch - you feel there is instant rapport to the staff, who value your custom.

Three months after purchasing my Thera Trainer, I took a fall and ended up in hospital with a spiral fracture of the tibia. A metal rod was inserted and I was told to mobilise as much as possible straightaway. The Thera Trainer seemed heaven-sent at that time, and I use it regularly, forwards and backwards, to keep active feelings flowing in the legs. It shows me whether one leg is working harder than the other and I can see clearly and simply whether I'm improving my strength. I'm very grateful I bumped into Medicotech when I did and I shall be watching out for their new offers!
